I want to improve the conditions of slums in India, says Kamal, an obedient, hardworking, and well-disciplined student who is currently studying in class 12. Kamal himself lives in a slum and faces many challenges like adjusting to a small room, sitting on the floor, and using his bed as a study table, where a frequent disruption in water supply, hearing the neighbors fight, and an unhygienic environment was a regular norm for him. He has to watch his father working hard to support his family by traveling 4km every day, working for 12 hours as a technician repairing chargers earning a few thousand rupees barely enough to support the most essential needs of his family.
Despite all the challenges and the lack of resources, Kamal has a big dream, a bigger plan for his life. He aspires to be an Indian police officer one day so that he could protect the nation and serve the country, bring justice to the poor, especially to those groups of people who belong to the lower and weaker sections of the society where justice is frequently denied to them. Also, he wanted to support his parents who are willing to sacrifice everything for him.
