Drishti lost her father at a very young age. She lives with her mother and siblings in a single-room slum in Delhi. Her mother single-handedly raised them by working as caretakers at a different hospital in the city.
Drishti is currently studying in class 10 and wants to become a veterinary doctor. When one asked how she planned to manage the college fees she answered: " I could work hard, save money first, and later work a part-time job while studying to support all my fees. Hard work is not difficult for me as long as I remain healthy".
Drishti has thousands of reasons to give up, but she chooses to face the struggles in her life and soar high one day.
